For information on the assessment criteria and for information concerning the necessary documents to obtain equivalence, it is desirable to consult the respective Internet sites.

The Application
  APPLICATION ENCLOSURES   General requested documents
• Curriculum Vitae
• Evidence of good conduct
• Evidence of nationality
• Confirmation by the Applicants
• Name of Competent or other National Authority
• Certificate of good conduct delivered by the concerned professional association (only for persons concerned). This certificate needs to be less than three months old.

Requested documents for Flanders
If your documents are in Dutch, English, French or German:
• The completed form aanvraagformulier (Word, 4p.)
• 4 normal copies of the diploma in the original language
• 4 normal copies of the diplomasupplement in the original language
• 4 normal copies of the official study-program with description of the content in the original language.
• 4 normal copies of the script / thesis in the original language.
If your documents are NOT in Dutch, English, French or German:
• The completed form aanvraagformulier (Word, 4p.)
• 4 normal copies of the diploma in the original language + 1 original certified translation + 3 normal copies of the original certified translation
• 4 normal copies of the diploma supplement (see above) + 1 original certified translation + 3 normal copies of the original certified translation
• 4 normal copies of the official study-program with a description of the content in the original language + 4 normal copies of an own synthesis in Dutch, English, French or German.
• 4 normal copies of the script / thesis in the original language + 4 normal copies of the own synthesis in Dutch, English, French or German.
If your foreign diploma is registered in the “precedent databank” of NARIC-Flanders, only one copy of the evidence is sufficient.

Requested documents for Wallonia
• The exact title of the diploma where you wish to get equivalence
• The exact names of the diplomas that are in your possession in higher education
• The name of the institute that has delivered these diplomas
• The legal number of years of the study program
• The country that delivered the diploma
• The presence or not of a script / thesis (memoires) at the end of the study-program
• The list of the completed internships
• Your nationality
• The motive of the solicitation of the request for equivalence of your diploma (studying, professional…).

Further requirements
  LANGUAGE APTITUDE TEST RECOGNITION   To work in Belgium it is essential to have knowledge of either or both of the languages spoken in Belgium: Dutch or French.

There is a selection test procedure for a specific area of practice.
